Both Friday & Saturday is a super duper tiring day for me.
Friday - went for red cross training. We hardly have any breaks as tmr (saturday), we're having our competition at Bendeemeer Secondary. All of us have the word FAIL in us already because for history, since years ago Red Cross have not won.
Reasons being: We're competing with private and prestigous school! -Singapore Chinese Girls School, Raffles instituition, etc. None of them are neighbourhood schools, tell me how are we going to win the champion. & there`s 34 schools competing altogether.
Saturday - Meet DarlingFOURS to school by cab. Immediately, when we dropped off from the cab, we hurried to Stella's class to change into our FULL UNIFORM. We were late, for goodness sake! Fortunately, we had some time left to practise our drills together with the music before heading off to Bedeemeer Sec.
We were the fourth group. Everyone's feet stood rooted to the ground, thinking if we were able to get into the 2nd round. (Though we know cannot make it.) After our turn, we stayed along the parade sq and continued to watch other schools. They were great manszszszsz! & there we go, "haiiiissya won't win la; they so good."
We can only go off at 3pm after knowing the results. U must be wondering why is it that we're still competing since we knew that we are going to lose eventually? It is because we see a little hope in ourselves and at the same time, we want to earn our CCA points.
We have done our very best, even our ex-sir says that we have done a great job. I think that is already good enough and we are satisfied. Reached home at 4.30pm & prepared myself. Went to meet Yinlue Mommah at 5.45pm, Tiong Bahru Plaza. Though it's a little too rush, but I managed to reach in time.
While on the way to TBP, I almost dozed off. I am just very tired, having to stand for long hours and wearing that hot red cross uniform. We then MRT to City Hall.
With our VIP tickets, we went for the Chingay perfomance. We got the seats which there's nothing to block our view. The performance was hilarious! The grandest performance indeed! No words could describe it, it's just very alluring. All those preparation were all worthwhile, as many people applause upon seeing the beautiful 'show'.
It ended at 9.30pm. Yinlue & I then went to the funfair opposite, Everything there is like a daylight robbery man! $10 for a throw at the glass bottle. Yet there's still people who go and play. But eventually, Yinlue & I went for a game almost the same as Escape Theme Park's Rainbow. It cost us $7.50. It took us many rounds, and I was feeling dizzy when I came down. Yinlue & I were shouting like dont-know-what when we were up there. HA HA HA.
Went to meet JJ after he knocked off from his work. He made me fed up having to wait for him so long. Cabbed to ABC to meet Darling. It was 11++ pm by then. Yinlue went home while JJ, Darling & I continued to chat.
Headed home at 12.05am.
We arrived at our seating for the Chingay Performance,

The not-so-nice evening view,

The beautiful night view,

The Courageous One =p,

This is the best result I've taken from my Cybershot. Blame me for forgetting to bring my digital camera along,
